Dandelion Theatre is committed to creating experiences that inspire and vitalize artists and audience members alike. We seek to attain this by cultivating community, fostering the artistic process, and valuing truthful discourse.
Who We Are
As the founder of Dandelion Theatre, Katherine developed and launched The Make Ready and directed the company’s inaugural production, Body Awareness. Since then she has had the pleasure of working with hundreds of talented Chicago actors, directors, and playwrights through Dandelion’s reading series, short play festivals, and main stage productions. With Dandelion, she has appeared on stage in Creature and Fish Eye and, most recently, she directed Ohio State Murders by Adrienne Kennedy.
Morgan is a Chicago based actor, improviser, and storyteller. She has worked with Dandelion Theatre since their inaugural production, Body Awareness, for which she was Assistant Director.
In addition to appearing in a number of independent theatrical productions and short films, Morgan has been seen on stage in Dandelion’s The Hot Dog Stand and Fish Eye and is a co-host for The Make Ready.
Kristina is a freelance director based in Chicago, and her Chicago directing debut was Election Season as part of The Hot Dog Stand in 2016. Since then she directed the development and staged reading of Infatuation by Hallie Palladino through our Reservoir Series, and assistant directed Ohio State Murders. She can be seen happily hustling pizza at The Make Ready, staring at every dog she sees with love, or attempting to come to terms with her equal obsessions of new works and Shakespeare. Kristina has also had the pleasure of working with Midsommer Flight, No Stakes Theater Project, Tarleton/Dawn Productions, and Griffin Theatre, and will be making her Producing debut with The Bloody Bathory Project through Barrens Theatre Co.
