BURY ME Character Descriptions:

JOSH - 20's, he/him. Lanky and vegan, handsome in the way of boys who read Pitchfork and collect succulent plants. (Which, of course, he does.) Gentle, classic sensitive guy.

MICHELLE - 20's, she/her. Intellectual. An ambitious illustrator, working at a magazine in Chicago. A late bloomer.

AMY - 20's, she/her. A grown-up skater girl who maintains her punk edge with a colorful streak in her hair. Poor. Self-possessed.

RU - 17, she/her or they/them. Enthusiastically opinionated, a vlogger activist/millennial riot grrl. Considered "fat" by her high school peers; Ru's not sure how to feel about that.

CHRISTY - 40's, she/her. She falls asleep to Bible radio but can swear like a sailor. She works at a factory building stereo systems for $12/hour. She holds the house together.

MARK - late 40's/early 50's, he/him.  An affable corrections officer at the local penitentiary, blue-collar, with a real sense of dad-humor.
